Preventative boil-water advisory

Boil-water advisory

Applicable recommendations:

Please note that you must boil your tap water (bringing it to a bubbling boil) for at least 1 minute before drinking it, or use bottled water for:

  • drinking or preparing beverages;
  • preparing baby bottles and baby food;
  • washing and preparing food to be eaten raw (fruits, vegetables, etc.);
  • preparing food that doesn’t require long cooking time;
  • making ice cubes;
  • brushing your teeth or rinsing your mouth;
  • providing water to pets.

You may use unboiled tap water to:

  • prepare food and dishes that require long boiling time for cooking;
  • wash dishes in hot water, making sure to dry them well;
  • wash clothing;
  • take a shower or bath (make sure that young children do not swallow water while bathing).

 

This preventative boil-water advisory is in effect until further notice. Affected addresses will receive another message when the preventative boil water advisory has been lifted.
