Water Service Interruption on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Precautionary Boil Water Advisory in Effect Upon Restoration of Service

Please be advised that your drinking water service will be interrupted between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, to allow for the repair of a watermain leak in your area.  In preparation for this work, you are encouraged to set aside an adequate supply of water to meet your consumption needs during the service interruption.

Once water supply is restored, a precautionary boil-water advisory will be in effect for a minimum of 48 hours and until further notice.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Please note that you must boil your tap water (bringing it to a bubbling boil) for at least 1 minute before drinking it, or use bottled water for:

• drinking or preparing beverages;
• preparing baby bottles and baby food;
• washing and preparing food to be eaten raw (fruits, vegetables, etc.);
• preparing food that doesn’t require long cooking time;
• making ice cubes;
• brushing your teeth or rinsing your mouth;
• providing water to pets.
  
  

YOU MAY USE UNBOILED TAP WATER TO :

• prepare food and dishes that require long boiling time for cooking;
• wash dishes in hot water, making sure to dry them well;
• wash clothing;
• take a shower or bath (make sure that young children do not swallow water while bathing).

Lifting of the boil-water advisory

Water samples will be collected from various locations and submitted for laboratory analysis. The boil-water advisory will be lifted once we receive the results of these tests, which requires a minimum of 48 hours.
