KIRKLAND residents who register their child(children) between April 12 and 23, 2018 – online or in person – are guaranteed a place in the chosen program for the selected dates!

REMINDER concerning registration for
babysitting service as of April 26

Considering that babysitting service is complementary to Day Camp Programs, it is recommended to register your child for this service only after having received confirmation of his/her registration for the Day Camp Program(s) of your choice. No restriction applies to the number of children accepted for babysitting service – registration is therefore possible at any given time, after receiving this confirmation.


In person Registration  (at the Sports Complex)

At registration, you will have to produce:

  • 2 Proofs of residency for each adult (drivers licence and copy of recent utility bill)
  • 2 proofs of birth for each child (medicare card & recent report card)
  • Social security number of the paying parent (for tax receipt purposes)
  • Emergency telephone numbers
  • Medical information

Assisted Day Camps for children with physical or intellectual disabilities

The Town of Kirkland is glad to welcome children with physical or intellectual disabilities in its Day Camp Program. In order to help us properly care for your child this summer and meet his or her specific needs, you must fill out the application form & send it back to loisirs@ville.kirkland.qc.ca, before March 15, 2018.

Reminders

  • No pre-registration possible.
  • Kirkland residents have priority. Please verify the dates that apply as spaces are limited.
  • All DAY CAMP programs are weekly programs – daily registration is not possible.
  • The age to participate in a program is established at September 30, 2018. For example:
    • a child who turns 5 years old on October 2, 2018 will not be able to register for day camps this summer;
    • the child who turns 7 on July 30, 2018 must register in the 7-9 group from the start of the program.
  • In the case of school derogations, parents are asked to contact the Recreation Department at 514 630-2719 PRIOR to registration.

 

Refund policy

Until May 25, 2018
All modification requests must be in writing (see Form above). An administration fee of 10% per week applies to every change requested to a child’s registration, including the babysitting program.

As of May 26, 2018
All cancellation and transfer requests must be made in writing (see Forms above). The amount refunded will equal 80% of the paid registration fees (including babysitting). The 10% administration fee also applies to every request for transfer to another weekly session. No refund or transfer application received less than 6 business days prior to the registration week shall be accepted.

NSF cheques
A $35 administrative charge applies to every cheque returned by a financial institution.

Camp T-shirts
No refunds on camp t-shirts.
