The Town will be carrying out maintenance work on the water supply system in your area on July 2 and 3, 2025. These interventions will require the closure of a section of Valérie Street, a temporary interruption of the drinking water supply service, and a preventive boil water advisory. Street ClosureTo carry out preparatory work, Valérie Street will be closed to traffic between Harmony and Cordova Streets starting July 2. Please note that this work may result in reduced water pressure in the area. Planned interruption of the drinking water serviceTo carry out the maintenance work, we will have to interrupt your drinking water service as of 8 a.m. on Thursday, July 3. In anticipation of this interruption, we recommend that affected residents stock up on water to meet their consumption needs during the interruption period. Once water supply is restored, a preventative boil-water advisory will be in effect for a minimum of 48 hours and until further notice.

Nature of the work: Implementation of an underground energy corridor to ensure electrical supply for new residential, commercial, and industrial development projects. The work will be carried out in three (3) phases and will take place from spring through summer 2025. Expected disruptions: Complete closure of the south lane of Brunswick Boulevard, between the eastern boundary of Kirkland’s territory and Charles-E.-Frosst Street.. During this period, traffic will be redirected in the opposite direction through the north lane.

Expected disruptions: Full closure of the south lane of Brunswick Boulevard between Place Dubonnet and the eastern city limit. However, contraflow traffic will be maintained in the north lane. Frosst Street, and du Merlot Street Nature of the work: Installation of an underground energy corridor to provide power to upcoming residential, commercial, and industrial development projects. The work will be carried out in three phases over spring and summer 2025. Expected disruptions: Full closure of the south lane of Brunswick Boulevard, between Charles E. Frosst Street and du Merlot Street. During this period, contraflow traffic will be maintained in the north lane.
