Traffic disruption on Saint-Charles Boulevard South – Work by ÉnergirDates: Friday, October 2, starting at 9 p.m., to Sunday, October 4 Location: 3068 Saint-Charles Boulevard Nature of the work: Énergir will carry out work on Saint-Charles Boulevard South to install a natural gas network that will serve the Liveo residential development. Expected traffic disruptions: Two southbound lanes on Saint-Charles Boulevard will be closed between Sainte-Marie Road and Hymus Boulevard. Left turns onto Hymus Boulevard will be prohibited. Road users must follow the signage in place. Police officers will be present at the intersection of Saint-Charles and Hymus boulevards. Town Planning
Formed of 9 voting members which consists of 7 residents and 2 elected officials in addition to a secretary and a resource person, the Urban Planning Advisory Committee (UPAC) is responsible for reviewing the various projects submitted to the town in application of its zoning, construction and subdivision by-laws and for making recommendations to the town council in this respect.
In collaboration with the Engineering and Urban Planning Department, the Urban Planning Committee has the mandate to study any requests regarding subdivision of land, minor exemptions, the amendment of zoning regulations and requests for permits/certificates in light of the objectives and criteria stipulated in the Town’s Planning and Architectural Integration Program.
