Communications and public relations

The mission of the Communications and Public relations department is to ensure an efficient two-way communication between the various actors on the municipal scene.
 
Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement communication plans and various town publications
  • Identify communication needs for the municipality
  • Write press releases, speeches and other documents of information
  • Coordinate administrative procedures and public relations activities
  • Promote and advertise town's events and activities
  • Project a favorable image of the municipality
  • Assist other municipal departments with their communication needs
  • Develop and maintain the Town's website
