Youth Activities
Online registration is mandatory!
To register online for youth activities, you must be a member of the Library and have an active AccèsCité Loisirs account. Do not wait until registration time to create your account because they’re only activated on weekdays during the Recreation Department’s business hours. No registration required Come to the Library to pick up your fall craft kit! Each kit includes everything you need to create an easy, educational craft (except glue and scissors). Available in limited quantities: Snowman: available as of December 2 8 to 12 year olds Registration starts January 16 Discover the fascinating art of origami in celebration of the Year of the Snake! In this workshop, learn how to fold paper to create enchanting snakes. Unleash your creativity and master a variety of techniques while having fun. A colorful show where magic tricks and illusions follow one another to the sound of festive melodies that will warm everyone’s heart. Every moment of the show is a surprise to fill you with wonder! SUNDAY, January 19 At Meades Park We can hear him coming and there he is, the snow shoveler... or rather, the cloud shoveler! With his collection of shovels, his mission is to clear the snow. The problem is, as soon as he begins his important task, playfulness and dreams take hold of him. He finds himself in some funny situations: balancing shovels on his chin, he juggles and even plays music! A funny, lively and interactive moment for the whole family. In order to provide all children an opportunity to participate in the activities, a 24-hour notice is required in the event of a cancellation, otherwise a $2 fee per activity will be charged. In accordance with the Library’s Unattended Children Policy, the parent/guardian of a child under the age of 10 must remain on the premises of the Library for the duration of the activity in which the child is enrolled. In addition, children aged 5 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the activity. Only children 6 years and older can attend the activity alone. The Town takes no responsibility for children left unattended. |
