Temporary interruption of the drinking water supply and preventative boil water advisory on Thursday, September 21 for certain addresses on Marcel Meloche St. and Brunswick blvd.
Temporary interruption of water supply service
As part of the maintenance of the municipal aqueduct network, please be advised that we will need to cut off the drinking water supply to your household on Thursday, September 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In anticipation of this planned interruption, we recommend that affected residents keep a reserve of water to meet their consumption needs during the interruption period, and to flush toilets.
Preventative boil-water advisory
Once water supply has been restored to your household, a preventative boil-water advisory will be in effect, until further notice. You will need to boil your tap water (bringing it to a bubbling boil) for at least one minute before drinking it, for food preparation and to brush your teeth.
Find all the information on recommendations in a preventative boil-water advisory period here.
Another notice will be delivered to your door when the situation returns to normal, notifying you that the boil-water advisory has been lifted.
