Municipal Yard

Located behind the Municipal Garage at 25 Claude-Jodoin Street, the Municipal Yard is a waste disposal site where citizens can bring their unwanted items, during opening hours.

Maximum quantity accepted:  2 m3 / drop-off

Opening hours

  • May to October: Every Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • November to April: 1st Saturday of the month, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

Accepted items

  • Natural corks
  • Standard Christmas lights (bulbs and wires) ***Large decorations (i.e. Santa, snowman structures), wreaths or any other type of light decorations will not be accepted.
  • Polystyrene (plastic #6) *
  • Electronic devices
  • Bulky items
  • Fluorescents tubes and incandescent light bulbs
  • Batteries
  • Ink cartridges

* Recycling bins for polystyrene are accessible at all times (24/7) at the municipal yard.

 

Before heading to the Municipal Yard

  • Check for opening dates and times
  • Make sure to comply with the list of accepted items and maximum allowable quantities (2 cubic metres per drop-off)
