FRIENDLY CALLS

This service is available to people aged 65 and over who feel lonely or who simply wish to have a friendly  conversation over the phone.

The objective is to:

  • Break the feeling of isolation
  • Promote intergenerational discussions
  • Build a stronger community
  • Encourage senior citizens to stay active and participate in the Town’s activities and events

Friendly calls are made once a week, according to the schedule below.
Beneficiaries can also indicate their preferences regarding the moment
they want to receive the weekly call.

  • Tuesdays, between 5 and 8 p.m.
  • Wednesdays, between 5 and 8 p.m.
  • Sundays, between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.

PAIR PROGRAM

PAIR is an automated call service that checks upon the well-being of the beneficiaries through a daily phone call. (for 50+)

PAIR enables its beneficiaries to:

  • Stay safe at home for as long as possible
  • Maintain their autonomy
  • Receive assistance in emergency situations
  • Provide support to caregivers, family and friends
  • It is also possible to receive a daily medication reminder call.

THE MISTREATMENT HELPLINE

The mission of The Mistreatment Helpline is to establish and implement a national telephone line dedicated to listening, timely intervention, crisis management and specialized guidance regarding the mistreatment of older adults.
