	2026-09-15 September 15, 1 p.m. - Water supply interruption AND precautionary boil water advisory for certain addresses on Elkas and Ramses-II Street Drinking water supply interruption AND precautionary boil water advisory for certain addresses on Elkas and Ramses-II Street September 15, 1 p.m. - Water supply interruption AND precautionary boil water advisory for certain addresses on Elkas and Ramses-II Street Notice to affected residences: Ramses-II Street: addresses 1 to 24 Elkas Boulevard: 19484 and 19486 Please note that we have had to temporarily interrupt your drinking water service in order to carry out emergency work on the water distribution system in your area. Once service has been restored, a precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect for a minimum of 48 hours and until further notice. Precautionary Boil-Water Advisory RECOMMENDATIONS: Please note that you must boil your tap water (bringing it to a bubbling boil) for at least 1 minute before drinking it, or use bottled water for: drinking or preparing beverages; preparing baby bottles and baby food; washing and preparing food to be eaten raw (fruits, vegetables, etc.); preparing food that doesn’t require long cooking time; making ice cubes; brushing your teeth or rinsing your mouth; providing water to pets. YOU MAY USE UNBOILED TAP WATER TO : prepare food and dishes that require long boiling time for cooking; wash dishes in hot water, making sure to dry them well; wash clothing; take a shower or bath (make sure that young children do not swallow water while bathing). Lifting of the boil-water advisory Water samples will be collected from various locations and submitted for laboratory analysis. The boil-water advisory will be lifted once we receive the results of these tests, which requires a minimum of 48 hours.
