Once service has been restored, a precautionary boil water advisory will be in effect for a minimum of 48 hours and until further notice. Precautionary Boil-Water Advisory RECOMMENDATIONS: Please note that you must boil your tap water (bringing it to a bubbling boil) for at least 1 minute before drinking it, or use bottled water for: drinking or preparing beverages; preparing baby bottles and baby food; washing and preparing food to be eaten raw (fruits, vegetables, etc.); preparing food that doesn’t require long cooking time; making ice cubes; brushing your teeth or rinsing your mouth; providing water to pets. YOU MAY USE UNBOILED TAP WATER TO : prepare food and dishes that require long boiling time for cooking; wash dishes in hot water, making sure to dry them well; wash clothing; take a shower or bath (make sure that young children do not swallow water while bathing). Lifting of the boil-water advisory Water samples will be collected from various locations and submitted for laboratory analysis. The boil-water advisory will be lifted once we receive the results of these tests, which requires a minimum of 48 hours.
