The Library presents conferences on various topics throughout the year. These conferences are free of charge, but prior registration is required at the circulation desk or by calling 514 630-2726.

CHILDREN’S NUTRITION
with nutritionist Stéphanie Côté

Tuesday, March 12, 7 p.m. (in French)

To love vegetables, yes it’s possible! Demystify children's nutrition with nutritionist Stéphanie Côté. She will give you tips and tricks for your children to enjoy eating well.  She will also explain two main areas of importance for children’s nutrition: the food to be offered to meet your children’s nutritional needs and how to serve them, so that meal time remains a moment of enjoyment.
 

Author Susan Doherty Hannaford
discusses ‘A Secret Music’

As part of World Book Day

A Secret Music, first novel of Montreal-based writer Susan Doherty Hannaford, won the Grace Irwin Award in 2016. Set in 1936 Montreal, it tells the story of Lawrence Nolan, a young piano prodigy growing up in the shadow of his mother’s mental illness.


REDUCING FOOD WASTE
with Louis-Philippe Potvin

For Earth Day
