► Lifting of the preventative advisory Water samples were taken at various locations and submitted to laboratory analysis. You will receive a new communiqué advising you of the lifting of the boil-water advisory as soon as we receive conclusive results of these analyses (minimum 48 hours). ► Possibility of cloudy or colored water ► Questions? ** Please note that we will be inspecting fire hydrants in sector 6 – Timberlea on September 19, 22, 23 and 24. Inspection work will be carried out overnight from 11:30 pm to 7:30 am.
The inspection of fire hydrants is conducted once a year, in the fall, to ensure that all hydrants meet operating requirements and safety standards in effect, before the freeze-up period.

These interventions may cause a temporary drop in water pressure as well as cloudy or coloured water. If you are experiencing this situation, let the cold water run in the bathtub for approximately 15 minutes and, as required, repeat the process until the water runs clear. Please note that cloudy or colored water poses no risk to human or animal health.
To prevent staining clothing or damaging an appliance, be sure the water runs clear before doing your laundry or using an appliance that uses water.
