Please note that, as part of the rehabilitation work on Beaubois Street, the water supply to your household will be temporarily interrupted between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. In preparation for this work, we recommend that you stock up on potable water to meet your consumption needs during this period.

Preventative Boil-Water Advisory

Once water supply is restored, a preventative boil-water advisory will be in effect for a minimum of 48 hours and until further notice. 

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Please note that you must boil your tap water (bringing it to a bubbling boil) for at least 1 minute before drinking it, or use bottled water for:

• drinking or preparing beverages;
• preparing baby bottles and baby food;
• washing and preparing food to be eaten raw (fruits, vegetables, etc.);
• preparing food that doesn’t require long cooking time;
• making ice cubes;
• brushing your teeth or rinsing your mouth;
• providing water to pets.
  
  

YOU MAY USE UNBOILED TAP WATER TO :

• prepare food and dishes that require long boiling time for cooking;
• wash dishes in hot water, making sure to dry them well;
• wash clothing;
• take a shower or bath (make sure that young children do not swallow water while bathing).

Lifting of the boil-water advisory

Water samples will be collected from various locations and submitted for laboratory analysis. The boil-water advisory will be lifted once we receive the results of these tests, which requires a minimum of 48 hours.
