Don't miss your opportunity to take part in the next event! On Saturday and Sunday, May 4 and 5, join the Community Garage Sale by holding your own at home!
No permits required!
Please remember to take down the signs and posters advertising your garage sale no later than by end of day, Sunday May 5, or as soon as your event is over.
Do let us know if you intend to participate in this ecological event!
Late afternoon on Friday, May 3, we will publish the list of participating addresses and their respective dates of participation on this page (Saturday, May 4 only, Sunday, May 5 only or Saturday and Sunday May 4 and 5).
That is where the concept of reuse takes on its real meaning! Following your garage sale, think of donating unsold items to organizations that will see to their recycling as opposed to discarding them in the trash. Some organizations even offer at-home pick-up service!
Also, if you wish to dispose of bulky items, the Town can pick them up free of charge. Check applicable schedule for Curbside Pick-up Service in your area. Bulky items collected by the Town don't all go to landfill: many items will be recycled, recovered and even reused.
*Free pick-up service
