Flushing of the Water Supply Network
April 7 to May 29, 2026

From April to end of May, the Town carries out the annual flushing of its water supply network. This maintenance operation is necessary in order to remove iron, lime, and rust particles from the water mains and ensure the quality of the drinking water.

Flushing operations are carried out by sector, from Monday to Friday, between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Precautionary measures

  • Always check that tap water is clear BEFORE USING IT.
  • During this process, avoid any activity requiring continuous water use (doing the laundry, watering the garden, filling a pool or a spa).

Impacts to be expected

Please note that the water remains safe to drink during this process, however flushing operations may lead to:

  • a slight drop in water pressure;
  • cloudy or discoloured water. Should this be the case, simply let the cold water run in the bathtub for approximately 15 minutes, or until it runs clear.
