Two Kirkland businesses shine at the 2026 Accolades Gala

The Kirkland Town Council is proud to highlight the success of two local businesses that stood out at the 38th edition of the Accolades Contest, presented by the West Island of Montreal Chamber of Commerce.

This annual competition recognizes businesses and individuals who actively contribute to the visibility and vitality of our business community, and who distinguish themselves through their commitment, innovation, and outstanding achievements. This year, 36 finalists competed in 11 categories.

The 2026 Accolades Gala was held on June 18 at the Marriott Montreal Airport In-Terminal Hotel, bringing together key players from the region’s business community.

Two Kirkland businesses in the spotlight

In the Innovation and Technology category, the award was presented to Mogile Technologies Inc. (ChargeHub). This honour recognizes the company’s remarkable contribution to technological advancement, particularly through the development of innovative solutions that promote efficiency and sustainable mobility.

In the Small Business and Self-Employed of the Year (1–5 employees) category, Brews & Blondes – Studio de Coiffure Inc. stood out for its steady growth, the quality of its services, and its strong relationships with clients. This award highlights the perseverance and entrepreneurial spirit that define small businesses in our community.

A source of pride for the entire community

“The success of these businesses reflects the dynamism and talent that drive our local economy. We are very proud to see Kirkland businesses shine at the regional level and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs,” said Michel Gibson, Mayor of the Town of Kirkland.

The Town of Kirkland extends its warmest congratulations to the winners, as well as to all finalists, for their essential contribution to the region’s economic vitality.
