Do you know the fable The Boy Who Cried Wolf? Of course you do. A shepherd-child who lied and cried “Wolf!” is punished by being eaten by a wolf. It’s a classic! It’s been the same story for 3,000 years... But what if the fable itself had lied to us? What if the wolf wasn’t the bloodthirsty monster of legend? What if he befriended the child-mentor and set off with him on a quest for truth and emancipation? What if they even turned an accusing finger at the puppeteer who’s putting on the show you’re watching?
