Dates: June 22 to early July 2026

Location: Hymus Boulevard, between Saint-Charles Boulevard and Sainte-Marie Road

Nature of the work: Road scarification and paving work will be carried out at night, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Reconstruction of certain sidewalk sections and drainage corrections will take place during the day.

Expected impacts: Complete closure of Hymus Boulevard, between 9 p.m. and 5 am. Road users will be asked to follow the temporary signage in place to bypass the work zone.

Local traffic as well as access to properties will be maintained at all times.

Targeted location: Place du Souvenir, Aesop St., Allard St., Derome St. and Pasquini St.

Nature of work:

Reconstruction of curbs, upper foundation and paving
Electrical work and installation of LED lighting
Replacement of fire hydrants and valves

Traffic: Local traffic will be maintained for the duration of the work.

*Residents planning landscaping work, driveway repairs, exterior painting, window washing or similar projects are advised to wait until the end of the construction period.

Fire Hydrant Painting – Lacey Green East and West areas

Painting work on fire hydrants will begin on Thursday, June 11, in the Lacey Green East and West areas. The work is expected to be completed by the end of June.

During this period, some fire hydrants will be temporarily painted grey. This is a normal step in the process and prepares the hydrants for the final red coat, which will be applied afterward.

Au total, 155 bornes d’incendie seront peinturées dans le cadre de ces travaux.

The contractor has completed the replacement work on the water main network. Curb removal is currently underway, and reconstruction is scheduled for the week of June 15. Additional information will follow shortly.

Watermain Rehabilitation work - Calais Street

The work schedule is progressing as planned. The contractor has completed the reaming of the water main and is continuing with the liner insertion work, as well as the replacement of the service boxes.

Dates: May 19 to mid-July 2026

Targeted location: Calais street

Nature of work: Watermain rehabilitation work by structural lining: a process that involves inserting a highly durable structural liner inside the existing pipe, thereby extending its service life by more than 25 years.

Temporary drinking water supply system:

The temporary drinking water supply system was put into operation on May 25. The relevant documentation on this matter was distributed to all affected residents.
