Domenico Zito Honoured for 20 Years of Service

The Town of Kirkland warmly congratulates Mr. Domenico Zito on 20 years of dedicated service as Municipal Councillor for District 4 – Lacey Green West.

Since first being elected in November 2005, Domenico has consistently demonstrated a strong sense of civic responsibility and a deep commitment to the community. In recognition of his two decades of service to the residents of Kirkland, he recently received a special distinction at the Union des municipalités du Québec (UMQ) Annual Conference, held from May 13 to 15.

Over the years, Domenico has played an active role in numerous municipal initiatives, particularly in the areas of traffic and public safety, urban planning, and the environment. He currently serves as Chair of the Environment Committee, where he continues to promote sustainability and enhance residents’ quality of life.

Deeply involved in the community, Domenico also supports several West Island organizations and causes, including the West Island Cancer Wellness Centre.

On behalf of the Town Council and the entire Kirkland community, thank you, Domenico, for your commitment and dedication over the past 20 years, and congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!
