Recreation Agreement With the City of Beaconsfield

Thanks to an agreement between the Recreation Departments of the cities of Beaconsfield and Kirkland, Kirkland residents can register in any Beaconsfield recreation program (except for Day Camps), for the same fee as that paid by Beaconsfield residents. We hope that this agreement will give our residents the opportunity to enjoy a much wider spectrum of recreation activities. To consult the service agreement, click here

Elevator Out of Service at the Sports Complex

The Town of Kirkland wishes to inform residents that the elevator at the Sports Complex is currently out of service until further notice. As a result, during this period, access to the Reception Hall located on the 2nd floor is available by stairs only.

The Town plans to proceed with the complete replacement of the elevator, as the existing equipment has become outdated. A call for tenders will be issued in the near future to allow for the installation of a new elevator that complies with current standards and regulations. The target date for restoring service is November 2026.
